Starting in August, Rick will be the Vice-Chair of the ABA’s “Trademark and the Internet” committee, which is part of the Intellectual Property Law Section. We’re not sure what this is a promotion from exactly—probably something like “flunky” or “moog”—but we’re very proud of him! But, seriously, the committee keeps tabs on things like developments in UDRP practices, domain name issues (including the new top-level domains), cybersquatting and so forth. Rick will see some of you at the ABA Annual Conference in Chicago in early August!
